..touching lives, changing generations ...

Adam

Adam_July_20111.JPGWhen Adam came to live at House of Hope in November 2009 he was 5 years of age. Adam and his siblings had been abandoned by their mother several years ago and then eventually his father also left him. Before he came to House of Hope he was in the care of his grandmother after spending a short time in an institution in Jakarta. His grandmother is his only living relative other than his siblings and is very ill but she still maintains contact with him each week and is so relieved that finally Adam has a good home.

Adam is eager to start school in July for the first time. He is very fun loving and really enjoys his hugs. Through the day he has the pre-schoolers to play with until after school when his new “brothers” return. Then he happily plays and runs with all the other boys at House of Hope.
